The management of the Universiteit Stellenbosch, SUN has opened the admission portal for aspirants that are interested in running a program at the institution both at the diploma, undergraduate and the postgraduate level. Specific dates and deadlines have been set for admission registration as well as the closure of the admission portal. It is advisable to apply early because of the limited admission slots available at SUN as late entry would not be permitted.
The application deadline or closing date is always an application submission timeline that is set by the institution for admission into any course of interest. South African schools (universities and colleges) usually have their submission deadlines within August and October every year.
Therefore, it is expected for the applicants to meet the University’s minimum admission requirements and admission point score before proceeding with the application.
UNIVERSITEIT STELLENBOSCH APPLICATION DEADLINE
Applicants are required to take note of the application deadline below:
- SUN Admission Registration 2024/2024 is scheduled to close on or before the dates stated below:
Undergraduate dates for all students, including international students in 2023/2024:
- 1 April: Applications open for financial assistance at Stellenbosch University.
- 30 June: Applications close for all undergraduate programmes.
- 30 June: Residence applications close.
- 1 August: Applications open for NSFAS bursaries.
- 31 August: Applications close for Stellenbosch University financial assistance.
- 30 November: Applications close for NSFAS bursaries.
- 15 December: Applications close for Diploma in Public Accountability (Telematic Education).
Postgraduate closing dates for all students:
- Visit the Prospective Postgraduate Student website (www.sun.ac.za/pg studies) for a list of the closing dates of all the postgraduate programmes offered for the 2023/2024 intake year.
- The Universiteit Stellenbosch Application Portal is expected to shut down on the same date at 11:59 PM.
