For admission into programmes of study at the Sunningdale University, SU Zambia for any first degree or second degree, an applicant must have the following requirements for a successful admission.
SUNNINGDALE UNIVERSITY, SU ZAMBIA UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
Entry requirements for all degree programmes:
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree shall have a minimum of five (5) ‘O’ level credits or better including English Language.
- Diploma programmes shall have at least three (3) relevant ‘O’ level credits or better including English Language.
Satisfy the particular Entrance Requirements prescribed by the relevant school as being necessary for such a programme of study (unless granted exemption in accordance with regulations). In-service applicants should have the relevant qualification to the degree/diploma being sought. This decision is to enable the students to perform satisfactorily in their internal exams.
Qualifications other than those of the Zambian School Certificate (or Cambridge Overseas School Certificate) or the General Certificate of Education may be accepted, provided they are approved as equivalent by the Senate.

Entry requirements for a Postgraduate degree Programme
A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
Entry requirements for a Masters degree Programme
(a) For admission to the Master’s Degree of a candidate shall either hold an honours degree of the or a qualification from an
approved institution of higher learning, deemed to be equivalent
to an honours degree of SU .
(b) Candidates who hold unclassified degrees should have a credit
or, a distinction in the subject of the intended Master’s Degree.
