UNIVERSITY OF ZAMBIA, UNZA SECOND 48TH GRADUATION CEREMONY – 2019 LIST
University of Zambia, UNZA will hold its Second 48th Graduation Ceremony for 2019 on Friday 21st June, 2019 at the Graduation Forum, University of Zambia Great East Campus. Graduands are advised to check on the official university website for the full list of graduands. The information regarding preparations for the ceremony is detailed below:
Examination Results
The results of examinations sat in the 2018/2019 academic year will be available from the offices of the respective Deans/Directors of Schools/Campuses /Institutes during working hours. Qualified candidates should confirm the inclusion of their names in the graduation list with their respective Deans/Directors.
Confirmation of order of names
The list of graduands for the Second 48th Graduation Ceremony will be available on the website.
Graduation Fees/ Clearance
Graduands are therefore requested to report at the University of Zambia Great East Road Campus, DRGS (Directorate of Research and Graduate Studies) between Friday, 14th June 2019 and Thursday, 20th June, 2019 from 09:00 hours to 16:30 hours to carry out the following activities:-
- Final clearance by the University;
- Payment of K300.00 participation fee;
- Registration for participation in the graduation ceremony; and
- Collection of invitation brochures, instructions and name cards.
Registration of photographers will be undertaken at the Public Relations Department between Friday, 14th June 2019 and Thursday, 20th June, 2019. Further, graduands are informed that those who will fail to pay the participation fee will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony.
Be advised that registration for participation in the graduation ceremony will not be allowed on 21st June, 2019.
Academic Dress
Graduands are advised to purchase or hire registered (patented) academic gowns at the University of Zambia, Great East Road Campus. PLEASE NOTE that Graduands who will be dressed in unauthorized (counterfeit) gowns will not be allowed to participate in the Graduation ceremony.
Invitation Cards
During the issuance of academic attire, each graduand will be given two (2) invitation cards for their guests. Persons without invitation cards will not be allowed into the Graduation Square during the ceremony.
Punctuality
On the graduation day, graduands and their guests will be expected to have taken their seats by 7.30 a.m. Those arriving late will not be allowed into the Graduation Square.
