ANU Master of Science (Advanced) International Awards in Australia – 2021/2022


Application for the ANU Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics International Awards in Australia – 2021/2022. Entry is now open at the Australian National University in Australia.



The educational award assists outstanding domestic or international students to enable them to pursue the Master’s degree programme for the academic session 2021/2022. Students will receive up to $20,000 ($5,000 per semester) paid over a maximum of two years of full-time study at Australian National University for the session 2021/2022.

The Scholarships are one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. The aim of the program is to create a global network of future leaders committed to improving the lives of others.



Scholars are selected on the following criteria:

  • All nationalities.
  • Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics.
  • Students who receive an offer of admission or is currently enrolled in the Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics.
  • Has achieved a minimum ANU GPA of 5.75/7.0 (or equivalent) in their undergraduate degree or completed at least 24 units of a cognate Masters level degree program with a GPA of 5.75/7.0 (or equivalent).
  • Students will be selected on the basis of academic performance.
  • If English is not your first language, you should provide evidence of English language ability: IELTS, TOEFL, or other acceptable proof.


  • In order to apply for the opportunity s, applicants must take admission in postgraduate degree coursework at the University of East Anglia. After being registered, candidates can apply through the online application form for this education award.

Application must include:

  • Must provide a 1 page CV including a description of prior research experience, a copy of all academic transcripts. If the applicant completed an ANU Bachelor’s degree previously, the transcript is not necessary. Students contact two referees with the referee template (available on the ANU Scholarship database) and referees send a completed form directly to rsaa.sa-at-anu.edu.au.
  • Only applications that have been submitted (with the International Office and registered on the website of the scholarship) before January 31, 2021  will be considered.
