The scholarship is funded by Aston University itself and will be provided to students from UK who wish to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree programme. Aston University will provide the winner of the Aston Aspiration Scholarship an amount of £500 in year two of their study.

The Scholarships are one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. The aim of the program is to create a global network of future leaders committed to improving the lives of others.

ASTON ASPIRATION SCHOLARSHIPS ELIGIBILITY

Scholars are selected on the following criteria:

  • Available to UK students a household income of up to and including £42,875.
  • All undergraduate and graduate degree courses and subjects are eligible.
  • The applicants should attain 75-85% in their latest education certification to be admitted to Aston University.
  • The students must secure an IELTS score of 6.5 overall, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

ASTON ASPIRATION SCHOLARSHIPS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • The students are directed to log in to the official online portal of the university. No separate application for the scholarship is needed. The students will be considered upon acceptance and will be notified if selected.

Application must include:

  • Copies of university transcripts of each year of study
  • Two references
  • A personal statement
  • Financial affidavits
  • Official high school transcripts
  • Passport
  • Insurance
  • Only applications that have been submitted (with the International Office and registered on the website of the scholarship) before 1 September, 2022  will be considered.
