The studentship is available for those eligible candidates who want to pursue an undergraduate degree program of the academic year 2019-2020 at the university. The grant will cover the full tuition renewable annually up to a total of 3 years including books and housing cost.

BOREALIS EXCELLENCE GRANT ELIGIBILITY

Scholars are selected on the following criteria:

  • Citizens from Austria.
  • For being a part of the program, aspirants must have currently enrolled undergraduate with a current cumulative GPA of 4.0 on the American 4-point scale (see FAQs) after their freshman year.
  • The grant will cover the full tuition renewable annually up to a total of 3 years including books and housing cost.

BOREALIS EXCELLENCE GRANT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

The claimants must be currently enrolled at the university. Candidates can download and submit the award application form and send it to [email protected]. All applications must include:

  • A 500 – 1.000-word essay focusing on: why you chose the particular major, what makes you an excellent student and therefore eligible for the bursary, what are your career aspirations, leadership skills or other distinctions? Your extra-curricular activities in relation to your studies.
  • Only applications that have been submitted (with the International Office and registered on the website of the scholarship) before May 25, 2019 will be considered for the scholarship.
