Haaga-Helia funding Scholarship for Bachelors and Masters Programme in Finland, 2019/2020

Through education, research and development, Haaga-Helia prepares professionals for business and services. We offer our students a versatile choice of studies, great opportunities for specialization, high-quality education in Finnish and English, and wide business networks even during the studies.Any eligible student meeting the requirement of 55 completed ECTS credits during two consecutive academic semesters will be offered a scholarship 20% value of the tuition fee. Any eligible Bachelor level student completing the degree in 6 academic semesters or less will be offered a scholarship of 30% value of the tuition fee. Any eligible Master level student completing the degree in 2 academic semesters or less will be offered a scholarship of 30% value of the tuition fee.

Their approximately 10 500 students and over 630 employees base their activities on highly advanced national and international expertise. Haaga-Helia is part of the Finnish public educational system. It is privately run but steered and co-funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture.

HAAGA-HELIA FUNDING ELIGIBILITY

Scholars are selected on the following criteria:

  •  Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Gibraltar, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are eligible.
  • Any eligible student meeting the requirement of 55 completed ECTS credits during two consecutive academic semesters will be offered a scholarship 20% value of the tuition fee.
  • Any eligible Bachelor level student completing the degree in 6 academic semesters or less will be offered a scholarship of 30% value of the tuition fee. Any eligible Master level student completing the degree in 2 academic semesters or less will be offered a scholarship of 30% value of the tuition fee.
  • No opportunities are available for the first year of study apart from a student graduating in two academic semesters or sooner.
  • Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

HAAGA-HELIA FUNDING  APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Applications will only be accepted if all sections of the application form have been completed and if the applicant is holding an offer on a course starting in January 2019.
  • Only applications that have been submitted (with the International Office and registered on the website of the scholarship) before December 9, 2019, for Autumn at 15:00 EET (GMT/UTC +2 hours) will be considered for the scholarship.
