This article contains information on the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) 2020/2021 resumption dates – Re-Opening Dates. It Involves significant dates for the new Academic year.
The Ministry of Education in its communique on Tuesday, 29th September 2020 allowed for phased reopening of Universities and Tertiary institutions. The Ministry was categorical that the reopening shall be in strict adherence to the health guidelines set by the Ministry of Health to combat CURRENT HEALTH pandemic.
The Catholic University of Eastern Africa wishes to inform all students that the commencement dates of the 2020 Academic Years are as follows:
CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF EASTERN AFRICA (CUEA) COMMENCEMENT DATES FOR 2020 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of the University has considered guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education on resumption of on-site teaching for all students. It is my pleasure therefore to request that all Regular students report back to the campus for regular teaching from 11th January 2023.
The University has ensured compliance to the standard health Protocols laid out by the Ministry of Health and also the Commission for University Education. Kindly ensure that you have with you a face mask at all times when in campus. Although we are prepared for your return, we continue to monitor instructions issued from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education which we shall abide by and adopt to it accordingly in case of changes.
NOTE
- All the 1st year students should urgently make arrangements to clear any outstanding fees in order to access University facilities and facilitate processing of examination cards.
- Any Queries concerning unit registration by continuing students should be directed to the various schools. First year students (2020/2021) will be directed on how to register their units after reporting
- The few accommodation space within the university will be availed on a first come first served basis.
