Entry requirements for Undergraduate Diploma Courses
Bachelors of Management and Leadership
University Minimum Admissions Requirements:
KCSE Mean grade C+ (PLUS) with C in Math and English or Kiswahili
IGCSE 5 Upper Level Passes.
GCE 5 ‘O’ Level passes with C and above and/or equivalent of Mean grade C+ (PLUS) with C in Math and English or Kiswahili
12 GRADE GPA of 2.5.
KCE Div II and above and 7 in Math and English/Kiswahili
KACE 2 Principal passes of C and and KCE 7 in Math and English/Kiswahili.
Diploma from a recognized institution and approved by the MUA University Council with KCSE C plain aggregate with C- in Maths and C- in English/Kiswahili OR Bridged Maths and English/Kiswahili
Pre – university/bridging certificate from recognized institution by MUA University Council. And KCSE C+ with C- in Maths and C- in English/Kiswahili OR Bridged Maths and English/Kiswahili
Professional qualifications from a MUA Council recognized examining body and KCSE C with C- in Maths and C- in English/Kiswahili OR Bridged Maths and English/Kiswahili
Bachelors of Development Studies University Minimum Admissions Requirements
KCSE Mean grade C+ (PLUS) with C in Math and English or Kiswahili
IGCSE 5 Upper Level Passes.

KCSE – Mean Grade of C+ (PLUS)
IGCSE – 5 upper level passes (equivalent to C+)
GCE – O-Level Grade 1-5 Equivalent to (C+), A –Level 2 principles + 1 subsidiary
12TH GRADE – GPA of 2.5
KACE – 2- Principles and 1 – subsidiary
DIPLOMA – Relevant Diploma from a recognized institution with a credit pass

Entry requirements for Postgraduate Diploma Courses
Admission and conduct of postgraduate programs shall be conducted under the provisions of the general postgraduate regulations.
The following shall be eligible for admission into a postgraduate diploma program in the University:
Holders of a Bachelor’s degree from Management University of Africa and other universities recognized by the AUA Senate.
Entry requirements for Masters Courses
First Class Honours OR Second Class Honours, Upper Division in any Recognized University in any area of option
Second Class Lower Division from any recognized University with at least two (2) years experience in research, administration, management or the public sector, as evidenced by at least one published paper in a refereed journal or Technical reports and patent documents.
Bachelor’s Degree with a pass from any recognized university maybe considered for admission if:
He/she has at least five (5) years of relevant experience in research, administration, management or the public sector, or:
Has a post-graduate diploma in a relevant field from an institution ecignized by senate
At least GPA of 2.99 in the relevant area of option
Masters Degree from a recognized Institution of higher learning in relation with the course of interest.
A statement of purpose, career goals and commitment to academic excellence is required. This statement should be a maximum of five (5) pages, typed, double-spaced. It should be submitted together with the other application materials.
