The University of Eastern Africa Baraton, UEAB has released its academic calendar for 2020/2021 academic session, newly admitted and returning students are to take note.
The academic calendar hints about University of Eastern Africa Baraton, UEAB resumption date for new and returning students 2023, examination date and other academic activities for the year.
See below, the academic calendar for sessional dates in 2020/2021 academic year.
UEAB SESSIONAL DATES FOR 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR
The academic calendar for 2020/2021 academic session as approved by senate of the University of Eastern Africa Baraton, UEAB.
- The University will re-open on January 4, 2021 for online registration and orientation.
- Classes will be both face to face and online.
- Both online and face to face classes will begin on January 6, 2021.
- The first and third year students will report to the main campus on January 6, 2021 for their face to face classes while the rest will continue with their online classes.
- The face to face classes for first and third year students will run from January 6, 2021 to February 26, 2021 while the rest of the students continue with their online classes.
- The second and fourth year students will report to the main campus on March 1, 2021 for their face to face classes while the rest of students continue with their online classes.
- The face to face classes for the second and fourth year students will run from March 1, 2021 to April 29, 2021.
- Second semester Final examinations will be from May 3 to 14, 2021.
- All nursing students will report to the main campus for their regular trimester to continue their clinical practices on January 6, 2021. For details please contact your school dean or head of department.
- All students registered for teaching practice, field practice, attachment, practicum or internship will report to the main campus on January 6, 2021 for orientation and then proceed for their respective activities. For details, please contact your respective heads of departments.
- International students can report to the main campus and plan to stay on campus till the end of the second semester.
- If the government guidelines change on the reopening of universities, UEAB will adjust its plans accordingly.
