Seattle Merit Awards for First-Year International Students in USA – 2022/2023


Application for the Seattle Merit Awards for First-Year International Students in USA – 2022/2023. Entry is now open at the Seattle University in USA.

This scholarship program aims to encourage academically talented foreign students to consider taking admission to Seattle University. This scholarship will grant eligible students with the educational funds to provide them with the opportunity to conduct a higher education.

Seattle University is a well-esteemed Jesuit Catholic university situated in the heart of Seattle, WA. It has approximately 7,200 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs within eight schools and colleges.

The Scholarships are one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. The aim of the program is to create a global network of future leaders committed to improving the lives of others.


Scholars are selected on the following criteria:

  • International students are welcome.
  • Undergraduate degree programme in any field
  • Entrants can be from any part of the world
  • Applicants should have enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme at Seattle University by the deadline.
  • Entrants must have a high school diploma to enroll in an undergraduate degree programme.
  • The university recognizes the following English qualifications: TOEFL, IELTS, ELS, PTE, Duolingo, SAT (2016+), and ACT.

  • All interested applicants should ideally have an offer of a place on an undergraduate course to be eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Application must include:

  • Candidates’ application for admission must include the following supporting documents: A pre-qualification degree, copies of academic transcripts, certificates of English language proficiency, a statement, and a copy of passport.
  • Only applications that have been submitted (with the International Office and registered on the website of the scholarship) before November 1, 2022  will be considered.
