Application for admission into the Metropolitan International University is basically online or by post depending on your preference. Kindly follow the instructions clearly stated below to apply.
MIU Online Application Procedure
- An application can also be made online by visiting the Metropolitan International University Online Application portal through the link as stated below in order to track the application anywhere and anytime.
- Simply upload all of the necessary documentation so that it can be processed by our administrative department.
- Your application will be completed once all of the necessary fees have been paid.
MIU Manual Application Procedure
- You can DOWNLOAD & PRINT Application Forms here OR OBTAIN Application Forms from Metropolitan International University Admissions Office at Main Campus at a non-refundable fee of Uganda Shillings 30,000/= (Thirty thousand Uganda shillings) for degree or 20,000/= (twenty thousand shillings) for diploma programmes.
- Fill the form with the necessary documents attached as well as with the original copy of the application fee.
- The University Bank account information is also indicated in the application form.
- No application is valid unless the appropriate application fee has been paid. Application forms can be accessed through an online application.
- Send applications to Office of the Academic Registrar, Metropolitan International University, MIU – or scan and email the form and academic documents to admissions@miu.ac.ug or metropolitaniu@gmail.com.
- Students who meet all requirements will be considered for acceptance to the University.
- Admission is strictly based on merit and conditionally admitted students must present the required documents within their term of study. Failure to do so will prohibit further registration.

Metropolitan International University, MIU offers undergraduate courses at degree levels besides those offered at the Postgraduate degree levels. Prospective students should apply by filling the application forms before the deadline date as it is communicated by the Admissions office. Late applications are only accepted if the program space allows. These should be received not later than two weeks after the start of the appropriate semester; OR not later than a week after the beginning of a session.
Once you submit your form, you must pay the application fee for your form to be processed. Otherwise, it will not be processed.
