The educational award provides financial assistance for motivated students who wish to pursue the master’s degree program at the QMUL School of Geography. The Queen Mary University of London will provide £3000 to international students who want to pursue a masters program in the School of Geography.

Established in 1785, Queen Mary University is one of the UK’s leading research-focused higher education institutions. It has around 4,500 members of staff, who teach and research across a wide range of subjects.

The Scholarships are one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. The aim of the program is to create a global network of future leaders committed to improving the lives of others.

WALTER OLDERSHAW AWARDS ELIGIBILITY

Scholars are selected on the following criteria:

  • All nationalities.
  • Must have a good second class honours degree from a UK university (except clinical medical or dental), a recognized equivalent from an accredited overseas institution or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Any masters course in the School of Geography.
  • For taking admission, applicants must check the entry requirements of the program.
  • If English is not your first language, you should provide evidence of English language ability: IELTS, TOEFL, or other acceptable proof.

WALTER OLDERSHAW AWARDS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • In order to apply for the opportunity , applicants must take admission in the master’s degree program at the Queen Mary University of London. After holding an offer from the university, candidates will be automatically considered for this education award.

  • Only applications that have been submitted (with the International Office and registered on the website of the scholarship) before August 6, 2020  will be considered.
