The study award is open for the high achieving international candidates who have a plan to study an undergraduate degree at the university. These opportunities are renewable for up to four years of study. Whitworth University will provide an award amount of up to $28,000 per year to the successful candidates for undergraduate study.

Founded in 1890, Whitworth University is a private Christian university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and located in Spokane, Washington. It is a small institution with an enrollment of 2,304 undergraduate students.

The Scholarships are one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. The aim of the program is to create a global network of future leaders committed to improving the lives of others.

WHITWORTH ACADEMIC PROGRAMS ELIGIBILITY

Scholars are selected on the following criteria:

  • All nationalities
  • Undergraduate degree will be awarded in any subject offered by the university
  • Candidates must have 3.75 GPA and 1420 SAT/30 ACT
  • Students should have high school certificates with a good academic record.
  • For taking admission, candidates must check all entry requirements of the university.
  • Applicants have to submit the following language requirement;
  • Students from non-English speaking countries: High school weighted GPA and the standardized test score submitted for admission (e.g. SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, etc.).
    A-Levels or IB exam scores (applicable to students from a Cambridge or IB curriculum high school)
  • Students from approved English-speaking countries: High school transcript & weighted GPA (for Canadian and U.S. applicants)
    High school transcript & national exam (for Australian and New Zealand applicants)
    A-Levels or IB exam scores (applicable to students from a Cambridge or IB curriculum high school).

WHITWORTH ACADEMIC PROGRAMS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • In order to apply for this funding opportunity, applicants are required to take part in an undergraduate degree at the university. After that, they can apply for the award.

  • Your official high school transcript must be sent directly from your high school to the Whitworth Admissions Office through your school’s electronic document service, by email to admissions-at-whitworth.edu
  • Only applications that have been submitted (with the International Office and registered on the website of the scholarship) before March 1, 2021  will be considered.
