AECI Mechanical Fitter Apprenticeship Eligibility

To be eligible for the Apprentice Mechanical Fitter position at AECI Property Services, applicants must:

  • Have a Matric/Grade 12 qualification with Mathematics and Science.
  • Be able to obtain an N3 required to apply for a Trade Test within 12 months of the starting date of employment.
  • Possess a basic understanding of process plants and the importance of maintenance.
  • Be able to obtain health clearance to work in a chemical environment.
  • Previous mechanical experience and familiarity with hand and power tools will be advantageous.
  • Having a driver’s license will be a benefit.
