Eligibility
We are seeking dedicated individuals who meet the following requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12 (NQF level 4) certification.
- Proficiency in computer literacy.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Applicants who previously participated in the program will not be considered.
- This position is open to YOUTH in the Johannesburg community.
- Only City of Johannesburg residents will be considered.
Job Description
The primary function of the Relief Worker is to provide administrative support in libraries, assist in training users to access the Internet, monitor the use of library computers, and help with organizing library activities. They will also assist with surveys on user needs in line with the Digital Transformation strategy.
Skills and Competencies
The successful applicant should possess the following skills and competencies:
- ITC literacy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
