Application for the East London IDZ Internships Programme – 2022 Entry is now open for interested applicants by East London IDZ in South Africa.

East London IDZ is offering an Internship opportunity to unemployed and prospective graduates to apply in the fields that are in line with the Corporation’s core business. The Corporation is therefore inviting applications for the East London IDZ Internship Programme that runs for a maximum period of 12 months in the following disciplines/fields of study.

The East London IDZ Internship Programme uses a fully integrated approach that combines theory with practical training and leads to a recognized qualification/certification. East London IDZ provides internship opportunities in the following areas listed below.

EAST LONDON IDZ INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY

General Requirements

  • Relevant studies have been completed
  • South African citizen (preference will be given to applicants from Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality)
  •  ELIDZ is committed to giving preference to suitably qualified persons with Disabilities in the relevant respective areas of the internship programme.
  • You must not be studying full-time
  • You must be unemployed
  • You must not have relevant experience
  • You must not have relevant experience pertaining to your field of study.
  • You must not have participated in any other internship programme
  • First preference will be given to top performers academically
  • You must be between the ages of 18 -35 years.

Financial Management

• M + 3 Qualification in Accounting / Financial Accounting

Supply Chain Management

• M + 3 Qualification in Supply Chain Management / Logistics

Corporate Communications & Marketing

• M + 3 Qualification in Corporate Communications / Media Studies / Journalism / Public Relations

Management Accounting

• M + 3 Qualification in Management Accounting / Management & Cost Accounting

Science & Technology Park: Research

• M + 3 Qualification in Agricultural Economics / Economics

Science & Technology Park: Design Centre

• M + 3 Qualification in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering

Environmental Management

• M + 3 Qualification in Environmental Sciences Studies / Environmental Management

Records Management

• M + 3 Qualification in Records Management/ Archives & Records Management

Maintenance and Facilities

• M + 3 Qualification in Office Management and Technology / Office Administration / Business Administration

EAST LONDON IDZ INTERNSHIP APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Applicants must complete all the fields on the East London IDZ Internship Application form in order to be considered. Incomplete application forms will not be considered.
