The FAIS Ombud, established under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 37 of 2002, aims to consider and dispose of complaints in a procedurally fair, informal, economical, and expeditious manner while ensuring equity in all circumstances. Located in the east of Pretoria in Gauteng, the FAIS Ombud is dedicated to providing a comprehensive Graduate Trainee Development programme that grooms deserving individuals and exposes them to the working environment.
The rationale behind this initiative is to train and empower recent graduates without previous work experience. The programme, which lasts twelve (12) months, equips participants with essential skills for life after the program.

The ideal candidate for this programme should:
- Be an unemployed South African graduate
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting) or a Diploma in the accounting field
- Have completed their course work and be looking for in-service training

FAIS Ombud Finance Graduate Trainee Application Date
- Closing Date for applications: 7 May 2023
In accordance with the FAIS Ombud’s Recruitment Strategy, preference will be given to candidates from designated groups. Applications from people living with disabilities are encouraged.
