As a People Operations Intern, you will be a vital part of our EMEA People Operations team, reporting directly to the HR Operations Team Manager based in France. Your role will focus on delivering comprehensive HR services to our managers and employees across Africa and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities
As a People Operations Intern, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assisting with HR administrative tasks, including benefits administration, HRIS support, and general administrative support.
- Processing salary increases, promotions, employee transfers, job changes, and bonuses, ensuring accuracy in Workday.
- Collaborating with benefits broker(s) and addressing employee queries.
- Coordinating medical benefits renewal and open enrollment for multiple countries.
- Working closely with HR business partners (HRBPs) and managers to facilitate the immigration administration process.
- Providing exceptional service to employees by promptly addressing and resolving issues.
- Generating contractor agreements, managing contract renewals, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assisting the HR team on priority projects and day-to-day administrative functions.
Meltwater People Operations Internship Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for this internship, you must:
- Be studying for or have a degree in Business Management or a similar field. A degree in Human Resources is preferred but not required.
- Have work experience in a fast-paced, people-centered environment.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and possess the ability to design useful Excel reports.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Possess the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively, demonstrating an ability to handle confidential information.
- Previous experience with Workday as a user would be advantageous.
- Bring a good sense of humor, show flexibility, and have an innovative approach in challenging situations.
