Application for the Public Services Sector Education and Training Authority (PSETA) Global Skills Initiative South Africa (GSISA) – 2021 Entry is now open for interested applicants by the Public Services Sector Education and Training Authority (PSETA) in South Africa.

Public Services Sector Education and Training Authority (PSETA) invites all interested applicants to apply for the apprenticeship Programme 2021. The 12 months programme will offer a theoretical element aligned to a apprenticeship programme and practical on-site work experience to improve the skills and workplace performance of entry-level learners. It provides foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, computer and basic business principles.

The Public Services Sector Education and Training Authority (PSETA) has partnered with Microsoft South Africa and its implementing partner Afrikka Tukkun. The Global Skills Initiative South Africa (GSISA) through Microsoft, is aiming to empower of 25 million people around the world for the digital skills economy in response to Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic.

AIMS:

• To address critical digital skills for job seekers and unemployed youth
• To make entry level digital skills training freely available
• To help young people to access digital skills for most in-demand jobs
• Microsoft has also extended free LinkedIn and Microsoft Learn courses and various certification skills to align to the 10 most in-demand jobs

The Public Services Sector Education and Training Authority (PSETA) Global Skills Initiative South Africa (GSISA) uses a fully integrated approach that combines theory with practical training and leads to a recognized qualification/certification.
