Role Description:
The Cape Town branch of Rosebank College seeks a dedicated Student Advisor. This individual will be instrumental in rolling out the entire marketing strategy to ensure targets are met. This encompasses conducting school presentations, interviewing potential students, and proactively reaching out to prospective learners.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Spearhead initiatives to elevate Rosebank College’s public image among all stakeholders.
- Cultivate and sustain strong connections with guidance teachers, especially from top-tier schools.
- Organize and lead school presentations, career expos, exhibitions, and RFRs.
- Maintain databases, including collecting grade 12 school data and updating school presentation records.
- Provide insightful career counseling to both potential students and their guardians.
- Directly handle the student acquisition process from database outreach to registrations.
- Distribute promotional materials to prospective students and schools.
- Organize marketing activities and events on the campus.
- Engage with potential students, encouraging them to apply or register.
- Produce various marketing reports using CRM-derived data.
- Address queries received via email, phone, post, or fax.
- Oversee international student admissions and visa processing.
- Manage inventory of all marketing and promotional materials on campus.
Requirements:
- Possession of a degree or a 3-year diploma, preferably with a focus on marketing.
- At least 2 years of experience in a marketing or sales role within an academic context.
- Ownership of a car and a valid driver’s license.
