SANRAL is offering an Internship opportunity to unemployed and prospective graduates to apply in the fields that are in line with the Corporation’s core business. The Corporation is therefore inviting applications for the SANRAL Treasury Internship Programme that runs for a maximum period of 12 months in the following disciplines/fields of study.

SANRAL TREASURY INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY

Internship objective

  • The incumbent intern will be exposed to front, middle and Backoffice of the Treasury. They will gain competency in the Debt issuance process, daily and monthly liquidity requirements and financial risk management.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, finance, accounting etc.

Exposure

  • Cash Flow Management
  • Deal booking and confirmation
  • Debt Issuance – Auctions / Private Placements
  • Loans and banking facilities
  • Monthly reconciliation
  • Risk monitoring and reporting (cash, issuance, Delta limit in line with approved limits)
  • Treasury system (Central bank management system (CBMS) also used by the South African Reserve Bank)
