The YES – Youth Opportunity program is a full-time youth development initiative launched in various regions across South Africa. It aims to provide eligible candidates with a comprehensive work experience that can make a lasting impact on their professional journey.

TFG YES – Youth Opportunity Benefits

Embarking on the YES – Youth Opportunity program comes with numerous benefits that contribute to the development of the youth and their entry into the South African job market. These benefits include:

TFG YES – Youth Opportunity Eligibility

The YES – Youth Opportunity program has specific eligibility requirements for those who wish to apply. These requirements are as follows:

• The applicant should be between the ages of 18 to 28 years old.
• The applicant should have a minimum of a Grade 10 qualification.
• The applicant should be available and willing to work a fixed term 12-month contract.
• The applicant should not have been employed permanently with a single employer continuously for more than 1 year.
• The applicant should not be studying full time in the year of employment.
• The applicant should not have previously participated or been registered on the YES programme.
• Accommodation and transportation are for the applicants own account (if applicable).
• Some specific positions might have additional eligibility requirements, like the HR Frontline Administrator role, which prefers applicants with an HR related qualification.

• Placements Confirmed: June – August 23

The YES – Youth Opportunity program is offered across multiple provinces including North West, Limpopo, Western Cape, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Free State, Southern Cape (George & Knysna), KwaZulu-Natal, and Eastern Cape. Also, there’s a special HR Frontline Administrator position available at the head office in Western Cape.
