The Islamic University College Ghana, IUCG has released its academic calendar for 2023 academic sessions, newly admitted and returning students are to take note.
The academic calendar hints about Islamic University College Ghana, IUCG resumption date for new and returning students 2021, examination date and other academic activities for the year.
See below, the academic calendar for sessional dates for the 2024 academic Year.
IUCG SESSIONAL DATES FOR 2022/2023 ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The academic calendar for 2022/2023 academic session as approved by senate of the Islamic University College Ghana, IUCG.
The University runs two academics sessions:
- Semester System in the Day and Evening sessions programmes, and
- Trimester System in the Weekend session programmes (currently only in Business Administration and MPhil programmes)
Under the semester system, the academic year comprises 2-semester:
- First Semester – September to December
- Second Semester – February to May/June
And with the trimester system, the academic year comprises 3-trimester:
- First Trimester – September to December
- Second Trimester – January to April
- Third Trimester – May to August
A semester or trimester is 16 weeks duration and it is structured as follows:
- 13 weeks of teaching
- 1 week of revision
- 2 weeks of examinations
- Please as at the time of the publication of this post, the Islamic University College Ghana Sessional dates for 2024 academic Year has not yet been released.
