It is announced for the information of prospective applicants and the general public that the School of Graduate Studies, RMU, is offering the under-listed programmes for the 2022/2023 academic year leading to the award of Master of Science Degrees.
- M.Sc. Environmental Engineering
- M.Sc. Bio-Processing Engineering
- M.Sc. Renewable Energy Engineering
Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS, and SPECIAL CASES.
RMU POSTGRADUATE APPLICATION PROCEDURE & ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Entry Requirements:
- A good first degree in Engineering with at least a Second Class Lower Division from a recognized University.
- Applicants with B.Sc. in the Physical Sciences will be considered if they have, at least, one (1) year relevant industry experience.
- Applicants with a Third class in related fields, with at least two years (2) industry experience may be considered. Such applicants will be subject to an interview and / with entrance examination.
- Applicants must submit the following with applications:
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae.
- Certified copies of transcripts and certificates.
- Personal statement of not more than 500 words (1½ pages) detailing your motivation for wanting to study the Course and what you believe you will gain from it.
Application Procedure
DOMESTIC APPLICANTS
All applicants are required to use the Regional Maritime University [RMU] online application portal. The procedure for the online application process is as follows:
- Make appropriate payment of GH ¢ 215.00 at the various sales centers for the RMU E-Voucher:
- Regional Maritime University, Nungua – Accra, Cash Office (Finance Directorate)
- All Branches of the Ghana Commercial Bank
- All Branches of Ecobank [foreign and local]
- All Regional and District Post Offices across Ghana
- The E-Voucher contains the Pin and Serial Number required to complete the online form.
- Access the online form by visiting the University’s online admissions portal at www.rmu.edu.gh. Then click on apply after payment.
- In completing the online form, students will be required to upload their passport size photographs
- A completed form is not considered until it is SUBMITTED.
- Applicants must print out application summary; attach transcripts, certificates and all other relevant documents. These documents should be forwarded to the Dean, School of Graduate Studies.
- Candidates are strongly advised to visit Courier Companies in their Countries for assistance towards the return of the application documents [see f].

- Log onto the admission portal
- Click on International Applications and follow the instructions displayed on the page for the completion of the form.
- Applicants must print out application summary, attach transcripts, certificates, and all other relevant documents. These documents should be sent to the Academic Registrar.
Application Deadline
- The closing date for submission of application forms is yet to be announced. Candidates should note that NO application will be accepted after the deadline.
