This article contains information on the Multimedia University of Kenya, MMU 2020/2021 resumption dates – Re-Opening Dates. It Involves significant dates for the new Academic year.
The Ministry of Education in its communique on Tuesday, 29th September 2020 allowed for phased reopening of Universities and Tertiary institutions. The Ministry was categorical that the reopening shall be in strict adherence to the health guidelines set by the Ministry of Health to combat CURRENT HEALTH pandemic.
The Multimedia University of Kenya, MMU wishes to inform all students that the commencement dates of the 2020/2021 Academic Years are as follows:
MULTIMEDIA UNIVERSITY OF KENYA (MMU) COMMENCEMENT DATES FOR 2020/2021 ACADEMIC SESSION
This is to remind all continuing students (2nd, 3rd, and 4th years (FOET) who were undertaking online learning since 10th May 2021 that they are required to report at the Mbagathi campus for face to face learning on Monday 12th July 2021.
1. FEE PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION
All affected students are further reminded that they are required to clear any outstanding fees for the semester. Kindly note that only those students who will have satisfied these requirements (paid requisite fees, registered u nits i n the ERP system and attended classes) will qualify to sit for end of semester examinations, which commence on Monday 9th August 2021.
2. COMMENCEMENT OF LEARNING
LECTURES will commence strictly on Monday 12th July 2021 at 8.00 a.m. using blended mode of learning. For any other details about teaching/learning venues, mode etc students are advised to contact the Dean/CoD of their respective faculties/department.
3. ACCOMMODATION
All continuing students are advised to make their own arrangements for accommodation. Kindly share the information with your guardians, parents and peers. and arrange to report for learning on time.
