This article contains information on the Umma University, UU Kenya Application form and
requirements for admission into
Undergraduate Degree, Diploma Programmes and
Postgraduate Programmes for the 2022/2023 academic year.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS and SPECIAL CASES.
UMMA UNIVERSITY, UU KENYA ADMISSION APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Application for admission into the Umma University is basically online or offline depending on your preference. Kindly follow the instructions clearly stated below to apply.
Umma University Online Application Procedure
- Simply complete the Umma University Online Application Form stated below and upload all of the necessary documentation so that it can be processed by our administrative department.
- Your application will be completed once all of the necessary fees have been paid.
Umma University Offline Application Procedure
Formal application for admission is made on an Application form.
- The forms can be downloaded on the Umma university official website.
- Download the application form;
- Fill-out the hard copy accordingly:
- Attach copies of Academic Certificates/Transcripts and
- A non-refundable, non-creditable application fee of
- Kshs 1,000.00 for degree and masters and
- Ksh 500 for Diploma and Certificate respectively.
- Drop dully-filled application to admission’s office on weekdays or scan the documents and send via email to: admissions@umma.ac.ke.
Alternatively, mail by post to the
Admissions Office – Umma University Kajiado main Campus Kajiado. The application fee can be paid by banker’s cheque or deposit in the following Umma University bank accounts:

- Application form for Admission
- Application form for Short-Term Courses Our academic year commences in the first week of September (Full time programmes). Applications should be submitted to the Admissions Office before the 31st August.
Deans Committee sits every month to process applications. The decision of the Admissions Committee is final.
- For regular programs, Umma University have; January, May and September Intakes.
- For the evening programmes, they have; January, May and September Intakes.
- For ODeL programs, they have January, May and September intakes.
Applications for admission should be received at least a month before commencement of the programme.
Note:
Umma University, UU Kenya offers courses at the Undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Prospective students should apply by filling the application forms before the deadline date as it is communicated by the Admissions office. Late applications are only accepted if the program space allows. These should be received not later than two weeks after the start of the appropriate semester; OR not later than a week after the beginning of a session. Once the application is approved, you will receive a letter of admission to Umma University, UU Kenya, informing you that you have been accepted and outlining the procedures that you have to undertake to settle in as a student.
Once you submit your form, you
must pay the application fee for your form to be processed. Otherwise, it will not be processed.
