BINGHAM UNIVERSITY ADMISSION GUIDELINES AND FORMS

Gaining admission into an Undergraduate Programme in BU is basically under 2 entry method which includes the UTME entry and the Direct Entry. Prospective students of Bingham University are to obtain the JAMB Forms, choose Bingham University and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Board as prescribed in the relevant advertisement for the 2024/2025 admission exercise. Bingham University, BU Undergraduate Application Procedures

BU Post UTME/DE Online Application Procedure
Interested candidates are to obtain admission forms online through the University’s website or at any of the designated banks listed below upon the payment of a non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 exclusive of bank charges:
  • Access Bank Plc.
  • First Bank Nigeria Ltd.
  • Zenith Bank Plc.
  • Gowans Microfinance Bank: A/C Name, Bingham University, A/C No.1100042564.
  • Forms can also be obtained directly from the University’s Bursary Department using Point of Sale Terminals (POS).
PAYMENT OPTION 1:
  1. Visit any of the above listed Banks and pay for admission form
  2. Obtain a 12-digit PIN to be used in filling and printing out the Form (Protect the details on the printout as confidential)
  3. Visit the University’s website: www.binghamuni.edu.ng/admission to register.
PAYMENT OPTION 2:
  1. Alternatively, you can use your ATM card to pay on our website using interswitch webpay.
  2. Visit the website www.binghamuni.edu.ng/admission click pay using Webpay.
  3. You are able to make online payments using any interswitch enabled Cards (Verve prepaid Cards, Visa or Master Card).

PAYMENT OPTION 3: Visit the Bursary Department at the University’s main campus, Karu and make payment using your ATM Card. A 12-digit PIN will be issued to you. For any problem encountered before or during registration, call or send SMS to the following No. 08032613576, 08030408344 or e-mail us at: registrar@binghamuni.edu.ng, or admission@binghamuni.edu.ng, webmster@binghamuni.edu.ng, systemadmin@binghamuni.edu.ng, directorateinfo@binghamuni.edu.ng with the following details.
  • Teller No.
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Amount
  • phone number
  • Details of the problem(s) encountered.
  • Completed Forms are to be submitted through the following steps:
      1. Click submit online
      2. Print hard copy of submitted forms
      3. Submit hard copy to Academic Office before screening day
      4. Note that candidates are to submit along with their admission forms, the following:
        • Character Assessment Form obtained online
        • Applicant’s Confidential Report obtained online
        • Guidance and Counseling Form obtained online
        • UTME/DE Screening Assessment Form obtained online

BINGHAM UNIVERSITY APPLICATION FEE

Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of N 2000 by following the payment method as stated in the application procedure. This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through BU, do not qualify for admission to BU or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available. BU does not accept cash at any of its offices. The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment.

Make sure that your application is complete
If your application for admission to study through BU is incomplete, you will have to re-apply during the next application period.

BU APPLICATION REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

All applicants starting a new qualification must present all the required documents, which generally consists of the following:
  • UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)
  • BU Post-UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy) JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc. RESULT SLIP for DIRECT Entry candidates
  • O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) OR an online version of the result
  • addressed to The Registrar, the Bingham University (original and photocopy)
  • BU Online application form (FOR DIRECT ENTRY ONLY)
  • Passport Photographs
