MARITIME ACADEMY OF NIGERIA ADMISSION GUIDELINES AND FORMS
Gaining admission into an Undergraduate Programme in MAN is basically under entry method which include the UTME entry. Application to MAN is basically online by following the following steps stated below.

MAN POST UTME Online Application Procedure
Eligible candidates should log on to the Academy website www.maritimeacademy.gov.ng and take the following steps:
- Click on Admission – HND/ND Registration Portal
- Login with UTME number as Username and Jamb Score as Password
- Generate and Print the Payment Slip
- Proceed to any of the banks listed on the application portal dashboard to make payment using eTranzact Payment Platform or pay online
- Return to the Academy Portal to Complete the Registration Form.
MARITIME ACADEMY OF NIGERIA APPLICATION FEE
Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of N 2000 by following the payment method as stated in the application procedure.
This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through MAN, do not qualify for admission to MAN or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available. MAN does not accept cash at any of its offices.
The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment.
Make sure that your application is complete
If your application for admission to study through TASUED is incomplete, you will have to re-apply during the next application period.
MAN APPLICATION REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
All applicants starting a new qualification must present all the required documents, which generally consists of the following:
- UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)
- MAN Post-UTME Acknowledgement Slip (Coloured and photocopy) JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc. RESULT SLIP for DIRECT Entry candidates
- O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) OR an online version of the result
- MAN Online application form (FOR DIRECT ENTRY ONLY)
- Passport Photographs
MAN Post UTME Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission into the Academy must have a functional and accessible electronic mail address (E-mail) and mobile phone number.
Applicants are required to possess the following:
- A minimum of 175 marks in the 2024/2025 UTME for:
- Nautical Science
- Marine Engineering and
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- A minimum of 160 marks in the 2024/2025 UTME for Maritime Transport and Business Studies.
- A minimum of five (5) credit passes in Senior School Certificate Examination or its equivalent obtained in not more than two sittings within the LAST FIVE YEARS in relevant subjects.
