It is announced for the information of prospective applicants and the general public that the School of Graduate Studies, FUKASHERE, is offering the graduate programmes for the 2023 academic year leading to the award of Postgraduate Diploma, Masters and Doctorate Degrees.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS, and SPECIAL CASES.
FUKASHERE POSTGRADUATE APPLICATION PROCEDURE & ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Entry Requirements:
Post Graduate Diploma –PGD
Candidates must have a minimum of 3rd Class Division degree from Federal University of Kashere or any other recognized university in the proposed program of study. Holders of professional diploma such as HND or equivalent are eligible to apply.
Masters Degree –M.Sc.
Candidates must have a minimum of a 2ndClass Lower Division degree of Federal University of Kashere or any other recognized university in the proposed program of study.
Masters Degree –MBA
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least a Second Class Lower Division from Federal University of Kashere or any other recognized by the University Senate. Candidates with Third Class Bachelor’s degree or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant discipline must have, in addition, a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 to qualify for admission.
Eligibility for M.Phil / Ph.D Program
Masters of Philosophy (M.Phil)
To qualify for admission to the above program:
(i) Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from this University or any other approved University with at least a Second Class (Upper Division).
(Ii) Candidates with a Master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.50.
(iii) All candidates to the M.Phil. Programs must contact the respective department for availability of supervisors before applying.
(Iv) The candidate may be required to undergo a selection process as determined by the respective department.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
(i) A candidate who has obtained the degree of Master of Philosophy must have a minimum CGPA of 4.0.
(ii) A candidate who has obtained the degree of Masters of Science must have a minimum CGPA of 4.0.
(iii) Candidates must clear with the respective Departments as to the availability of vacancies / supervisors before applying.
(Iv) All candidates may be required to undergo a selection process as may be determined by the department.
For M. Phil and Ph.D. programs only, admission shall be processed at the beginning of each semester.
ALL CANDIDATES FOR M. Phil./Ph.D. ADMISSIONS ARE TO PROVIDE TRANSCRIPTS OF THEIR MASTERS’DEGREES OR FORMAL EVIDENCE OF PERFORMANCE AT MASTER’S LEVEL.
