Gaining admission into an Undergraduate Programme in LAUTECH is basically under 2 entry method which includes the UTME entry and the Direct Entry. Prospective students of LAUTECH are to obtain the JAMB Forms, choose LAUTECH and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Board as prescribed in the relevant advertisement for the 2024/2025 admission exercise. Also, applicants must complete the online LAUTECH Application Forms. LAUTECH Post UTME/DE Post UTME/DE Online Application Procedure
- Applicants are to proceed to the admission website of the University www.admissions.lautech.edu.ng to make payment of a fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,300.00) only for the purpose of online registration for the screening exercise using Inter-Switch Enabled Debit Card (ATM).
- Applicants are expected to carefully complete and submit the online application form having uploaded a digital copy of their passport photographs in the white background which must be in JPEG and must not be more than 20kb.
- Any applicant with a blurred picture on the acknowledgement page will not be admitted into the screening centre as the photograph will be used as a means of identification. The COLOUR PRINT OUT acknowledgement page should be presented by all candidates at the screening venue before admittance to participate in the exercise. Candidates should note that satisfaction of this requirement is mandatory. For ease of communication, applicants are to provide valid and active e-mail addresses and phone numbers.
- Any applicant who fails to present himself/herself for the CBT as scheduled automatically forfeits being considered for admission. The use of cell phones and any unauthorized device is not allowed during the screening exercise.
- LAUTECH will admit only candidates who passed at credit level in at least five (5) relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB relevant subjects.
- Candidates should carefully study the University Brochure as provided on the University website to guide them in completion of their application forms.
LADOKE AKINTOLA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION FEE
Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of ₦2,300.00. This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through LAUTECH, do not qualify for admission to LAUTECH or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available. LAUTECH does not accept cash at any of its offices. The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment.Make sure that your application is complete
If your application for admission to study through LAUTECH is incomplete, you will have to re-apply during the next application period.LAUTECH APPLICATION REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
All applicants starting a new qualification must present all the required documents, which generally consists of the following:- UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)
- LAUTECH Post-UTME Acknowledgement Slip (Coloured and photocopy) JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc. RESULT SLIP for DIRECT Entry candidates
- O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) OR an online version of the result
- LAUTECH Online application form (FOR DIRECT ENTRY ONLY)
- Passport Photographs
