MOUNTAIN TOP UNIVERSITY ADMISSION GUIDELINES AND FORMS
Gaining admission into an Undergraduate Programme in Mtu is basically under 2 entry method which includes the UTME entry and the Direct Entry. Prospective students of Mountain Top University are to obtain the JAMB Forms, choose Mountain Top University and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Board as prescribed in the relevant advertisement for the 2024/2025 admission exercise. Also, applicants must complete the online Mountain Top University Application Forms. MTU Post UTME/DE Online Application Procedure
- Visit mtu.edu.ng (click on “Student” and select “2024/2025 Prospective Students” from the dropdown menu). Click on “Start a Fresh Application”
- Enter your basic details (Name, Active Mobile Phone Number and E-mail Address) and Click on “Continue”
- Download and print your Payment Voucher.
- Go to any of the under-listed banks with the printout of your Payment Voucher and make payment for the sum of N 5, 000 (For Undergraduate / Direct Entry) or N 20, 000 (Transfer Students) only to any of the following Banks:
- First Bank of Nigeria Plc Platform for Payment: SkoolPay Platform Account Name: Mountain Top University.
- Zenith Bank Plc. Platform for Payment: Xpath Platform Account Name: Mountain Top University.
- Ecobank Limited Platform for Payment: Basys Platform Account Name: Mountain Top University.
- Guaranty Trust Bank Plc. Platform for Payment: GTCollection Account Name: Mountain Top University.
MOUNTAIN TOP UNIVERSITY APPLICATION FEE
This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through MTU, do not qualify for admission to MTU or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available. MTU does not accept cash at any of its offices. The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment.Make sure that your application is complete
If your application for admission to study through MTU is incomplete, you will have to re-apply during the next application period.MTU APPLICATION REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
All applicants starting a new qualification must present all the required documents, which generally consists of the following:- UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)
- MTU Post-UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy) JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc. RESULT SLIP for DIRECT Entry candidates
- O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) OR an online version of the result
- addressed to The Registrar, the Mountain Top University (original and photocopy)
- MTU Online application form (FOR DIRECT ENTRY ONLY)
- Passport Photographs
