UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR ADMISSION GUIDELINES AND FORMS
Gaining admission into an Undergraduate Programme in Unical is basically under 2 entry method which includes the UTME entry and the Direct Entry. Prospective students of University of Calabar are to obtain the JAMB Forms, choose University of Calabar and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Board as prescribed in the relevant advertisement for the 2023/2024 admission exercise. Also, applicants must complete the online University of Calabar Application Forms. UNICAL Post UTME Post UTME/DE Online Application Procedure
- The following options are available:

- E-tranzact option: This option is available in all commercial banks nationwide. At the bank your are required to pay and obtain an E-transact PIN. With the PIN log into the portal http://www.myunical.edu.ng and click on the UTME Admission Screening link then follow the instructions on the portal after login.

- Buy Post-UTME Pin Online option: This option gives access to purchase Post-UTME pin from the portal. Click Buy Post-UTME Pin Online to purchase the Post-UTME pin online. Login with the TRANSACTION ID as the PIN into the portal.
- Scratch Card Option: This option is available in the following banks within Calabar Metropolis ONLY: a. Unical Microfinance Bank b. WEMA Bank c. First city Monument Bank d. Heritage Bank
- LOG ON TO http://www.myunical.edu.ng and click on the UTME Admission Screening link
- On the home page, enter your correct JAMB Registration Number in the box provided
- Enter the scratch card pin in the box provided
- Click on login and follow the online instructions.
- Confirm your entries and CLICK ON SUBMIT
- Print out the completed form.

UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR APPLICATION FEE
Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of N 2000 by following the payment method as stated in the application procedure. This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through UNICAL, do not qualify for admission to UNICAL or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available. UNICAL does not accept cash at any of its offices. The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment.Make sure that your application is complete
If your application for admission to study through UNICAL is incomplete, you will have to re-apply during the next application period.UNICAL APPLICATION REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
All applicants starting a new qualification must present all the required documents, which generally consists of the following:- UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)
- UNICAL Post-UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy) JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc. RESULT SLIP for DIRECT Entry candidates
- O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) OR an online version of the result
- UNICAL Online application form (FOR DIRECT ENTRY ONLY)
- Passport Photographs
