Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS, and SPECIAL CASES.
AFRICA INSTITUTE OF MUSIC ADMISSION APPLICATION GUIDELINES
For any new person interested in joining Aptech, the steps to begin your journey are pretty straight forward and they include the following
- The College offers diploma and certificate courses and admits twice in an academic year ie August and January intake on a semester basis. Application forms will be on sale in June and December every year.
- Hard Copy applications can be obtained from the Academic Registrar’s office, OR downloaded from africainstituteofmusic.com
- The required documents must accompany the Application Form.
Africa Institute of Music, AIM offers courses at Diploma levels besides those offered at the degree levels. Prospective students should apply by filling the application forms before the deadline date as it is communicated by the Admissions office. Late applications are only accepted if the program space allows. These should be received no later than two weeks after the start of the appropriate semester; OR not later than a week after the beginning of a session.
Once you submit your form, you must pay the application fee for your form to be processed. Otherwise, it will not be processed.
Note:
- We only admit a limited number of applicants for best learning outcomes: 10 for the Bachelor of Music, 15 for the Diploma, and 10 for the Certificate programs.
- The deadline to apply for the next semester is 25 June 2021.
- The entrance exams will take place in the week of 17th July.
- We will offer online intensive courses for the entrance exam preparations: 5th- 16th July.
