Application for the 2021 DALF C1 Linguistic Training Sponsorship for all those who wish to obtain a DALF C1 certificate is now open at Kyambogo University in Uganda.
It has been noted that the DALF C1 certificate is a requirement for admission for Masters of Arts in Teaching French as a foreign language In French Universities such as Grenoble and Artois. However, to pass that exam, a period of preparation and revision, especially in listening and writing, is necessary. To enable its finalists in French and alumni currently teaching French to get this international certificate, Kyambogo University is organizing a one -week linguistic workshop sponsored by a Grant which it got from the French Embassy. The grant aims to teach French in Uganda by enabling its alumni to improve their communication skills in French and pursue their studies in French language and its teaching methods.
The linguistic workshop will take place from 3 rd to 7 th May 2021 at Kyambogo university in a face to face mode. Experienced trainers in DELF and DALF will come from Alliance Française and Kyambogo University. The award will cover the DALF examination fees, transport costs during the training and meals.

The applicants should be
- Finalists of the French section
- Alumni of the French section of Kyambogo University but currently teaching French in a public or private secondary school, a technical school or a business college or a private language centre.
- Show commitment to sit DALF C1 exams at Alliance Française either in July or November 2021 Sessions.
- Teachers of French aspiring to enrol for Masters In French at Artois University in 2022 or 2023

The application is strictly online. The application letter should be written in French and include a commitment to revise appropriately to sit DALF C1 exams. The letter should be addressed to the following address: FASS@kyu.ac.ug and copied to vbakurumpagi@yahoo.com not later than 15 th April 2021
