This article contains information on the Bugema University registration process and guidelines for the new and continuing students thereby preparing them for the semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.
The Bugema University has already commenced the 2020 Academic year. Applicants who received a formal letter of offer to join the University this academic year 2022/2023 are required to complete the registration process online.
Registration is the process by which you formally enroll at the University, The online registration window for all new students is on
. All applicants are required to register during this period.
BUGEMA UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ONLINE REGISTRATION GUIDELINES AND PORTAL
- Distance & e-Learning (ODel) Registration Protocol Continuing Students (All Programs)
- Pay school fee at the bank or school pay,
- Send a PDF image of the bank slip to: finance@bugemauniv.ac.ug and a copy to your Head of Department, (Or contact this number for further inquiries +256776204215)
- Open a web browser (chrome, fire fox, Opera, Microsoft edge, )
- In the web browser, enter the following URL in the address https://erms.bugemauniv.ac.ug/student/
- On the landing page of the entered address, choose/click on the Login.
- If you have an account in the system, then fill in your authentication details (username and password), else click on the new student registration.
- Fill in the registration form that follows using your registration/ ID-number as your Username, a working email address, your password two times, your date of birth, and a secret question that will assist you incase you forget your password in the future, plus your secret answer.
- After filling in the form, and clicking on register, open your email address and locate the mail sent from the ERMS system, and choose “Activate my Account”.
- After activating your account, wait for the approval from the system administrator, you will receive an approval message in your mail In the received approval mail, click on the “My account Link”
- For Continuing students (Those who already have accounts), On the login page, fill in your Registration Number as your Username, and the password that you provided during the registration then choose Login
- When your ERMS account opens, click on course registration, on the upper left-hand corner
- Under course registration, enter the semester number that you are trying to register for, and press
- Under offered courses for registration, the available courses for that semester will be (if you can’t see any courses, then please contact your head of department)
- click on the plus sign alongside the particular course that you choose to study in that particular semester
- The courses that you select will prompt you to confirm addition, (choose ‘OK’) and the courses will be displayed in the “Selected Courses for Registration”
- In case you mistakenly choose a course that you don’t intend to study that semester, click on the minus sign on the “selected courses for registration” panel, and it will be removed.
- The system will then show you the total number of credits that you have selected plus the total fees for the selected credits (ensure that the payment made in the bank after selection of the courses is above 50% following the current fees structure)
- You can then click on the “Apply” button.
- After applying, please call your Head of Department (HOD), and request him/her to approve the courses that you have applied for, and the way forward as you prepare to join the e- learning/virtual classes after the registration process.
