We are happy to present to you the Lira University 1st Graduation List – 2019. The Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the University Council, Management Board and Senate has released the names of successful graduands.
Therefore all successful graduands can check their names below or on the university website.
LIRA UNIVERSITY 1ST GRADUATION LIST FOR 2019
Lira University will hold its 1st Graduation ceremony for 2019 on Friday 1st November 2019 at Lira University main campus. Graduands are advised to check below for the full list of graduands.
The graduation ceremony will be presided over by the University Chancellor and other councils who will award Diplomas and Certificates and confer Degrees.

Examination Results
The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.
Fees & Clearance
Pay the following fees online by 25th October 2019 at https://payments.lirauni.ac.ug/.
- Graduation fee 120,000 Ugx
- Graduation Gowns 90,000 Ugx
- Convocation fee 15,000 Ugx
- Transcript fee 20,000 Ugx
- Certificate fee 20,000 Ugx
- Certification fee 3,000 Ugx
All graduands should be cleared by the Lira University’s Accounts Office before 25th October 2019. Any outstanding fees must be paid before the deadline. Only graduands cleared by the Accounts office will be allowed to register for graduation.
NB: Students of the then Gulu University Constituent College-Lira will pay their Graduation fees to Gulu University and get their Graduation Gowns from Gulu University but must be cleared by the relevant offices in Lira University.
List of Graduands
The list will be posted as soon as it is approved. Continuously keep on confirming with your Department if you have met the Graduation requirements.
Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his/her School immediately.
Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names
Graduands must ensure that all courses taken in their program of study have been graded and passed and that there are no missing courses or grades.
Punctuality and invitation Card
Graduation gowns and invitation cards shall be picked from the Office of the Academic
Registrar from Thursday 24th to Wednesday 30th October 2019 upon presentation of the
payment receipt.
Graduands must take seats by 8.00 am and invited guests are expected to be seated by 9.00 am.
