Pre-Entry Exam | UNEB UACE Examination Timetable 2026

This is to notify all prospective higher institution students about the UNEB UACE examination timetable. The approved UNEB UACE exam timetable contains a scheduled list of subjects, along with the time and venue for all papers scheduled for the current academic session. The UNEB examination timetable guides all prospective candidates on their exam schedule.

Important notice for 2026 candidates: As of the time of this update, the official 2026 UACE timetable is published on the official UNEB portals listed below. Always verify the timetable directly from the official UNEB sources. Do not rely on third-party blogs, social media posts, or unofficial websites, which may carry outdated or unverified mock schedules.

Key administrative dates for 2026:

  • Normal registration for PLE, UCE, and UACE was extended to June 30, 2026. Ensure your registration is confirmed before this date.
  • The UACE examinations are expected to be held between October and November 2026, consistent with historical patterns.
  • A reminder was issued to all UACE center heads on March 10, 2026.
  • The deadline for submitting Special Educational Needs (SNE) access arrangement forms is June 30, 2026.

UNEB UACE EXAM TIMETABLE FOR 2026

Note: The timetable below reflects historical scheduling from a previous UACE cycle and is provided as a general reference for subject sequencing and duration. Candidates must download and confirm the official 2026 timetable directly from uneb.ac.ug or ereg.uneb.ac.ug/files/ before planning their preparation. Dates in the table below are from a previous cycle and will differ in 2026.

  • All first session examination papers will start at 8:00 a.m. The start time for second session examination papers is as indicated on the timetable.
  • The time allowed for each paper is indicated against the name of the paper, and NO EXTRA TIME IS TO BE ALLOWED. In case of any discrepancy, the time stated on the question paper should be taken as the correct time. Time for reading through questions is part of the time shown on the question paper, except where special paper instructions indicate otherwise.
  • Supervisors and Invigilators are asked to ensure that candidates have written their names, index numbers and have signed on their answer scripts before they collect the answer scripts from each candidate. Candidates are advised to ensure that they only sit the subjects they are registered for.

NOTE: P615/1, 2 papers to be released at 12.00 noon.
In S850/2 & 3, Information & Communications Technology, the 2 hours include the time for printing out the candidate’s work. No further printing may be done after the stipulated time.

DIRECTIONS TO CANDIDATES

  1. Ease yourself before entering the examination room. No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination room before the end of the examination time.
  2. Be at the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination, ready to be identified and checked. Any candidate who arrives 15 or more minutes after the start of an examination will not be allowed to sit that paper.
  3. Present yourself at the entrance to the examination hall for checking by the supervisor/invigilators. They have been instructed to check you thoroughly, including your pockets, shoes, and body.
  4. Do not indulge in any form of examination malpractice. Do not bring unauthorized materials such as notes, textbooks, etc., into the examination room. Do not write on your body, clothing, mathematical sets, or calculators.
