Entry Requirements: 

Prospective students must meet the following minimum entry requirements

• School leavers: 5 O’levels  in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physical Science/Combined Science or Chemistry and any of the following: Physics, Agriculture Science, Geography, English Literature or Commerce. Candidates must score a minimum of a credit.
• Mature Age: Mature students (aged 23 or above) who do not meet the minimum entry requirements may be admitted provided there is sufficient evidence of academic progress in the relevant subjects or who can demonstrate the appropriate ability and experience. An assessment of prior learning and experience will be conducted for candidates holding certificates in Medical Laboratory Sciences.

Qualifications Requirements for Academic Staff

There is also an opportunity for suitably qualified staff to join the academic teaching staff as full time or part-time lecturers

The qualification required for teaching staff are as follows:
The minimum qualification is a Bachelor of Science degree in a  Biomedical Sciences discipline. Additional qualification: Diploma/Certificate in Education.
