Application for the KNUST Kingdom Books and Stationary Bursary for Ghanaian Students in Ghana – 2022/2023 Entry is now open at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST in Ghana.
Kingdom Books and Stationary Bursary offers a one-year Scholarship to Brilliant but Needy Students to enable them pursue their University Education in KNUST.
The University’s name was changed to University of Science and Technology after the Revolution of 24th February, 1966. The University of Science and Technology was officially inaugurated on Wednesday, 20th November, 1961. However, by another act of Parliament, Act 559 of 1998, the University has been renamed Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. KNUST exists to advance knowledge in science and technology through creating an environment for undertaking relevant research, quality teaching, entrepreneurship training and community engagement to improve the quality of life.
The Scholarships are one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. The aim of the program is to create a global network of future leaders committed to improving the lives of others.
KINGDOM BOOKS AND STATIONARY BURSARY ELIGIBILITY
Scholars are selected on the following criteria:
- The Scholarship is opened to all Ghanaian students in their 2nd, 3rd and 4th years, who are Brilliant, but Needy Students of KNUST and who are pursuing full time programmes.
- Applicants should not be a beneficiary of another Scholarship scheme at the time of application.
KINGDOM BOOKS AND STATIONARY BURSARY APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Application forms and other detailed information can be downloaded HERE.
- All documents must be in a sealed envelope with the Applicant’s name, programme and phone number boldly written on it.
- Submission of documents should be done at the Students Affairs and Financial Services (Room 19/20) at the Dean of Students Office, J Harper Building.
- Any write-up should be typed with the font Times New Roman, size 12 and double-spaced.
- No Application will be accepted after the deadline.
- Applicant should not be a beneficiary of any form of financial assistant or scholarship at the time of application
Application must include:
- Proof of Need – Maximum ½ a page to one page only
Updated Result Slip Signed and Stamped by the Exams officer
Other awards or certificates (if any). - Only applications that have been submitted on or before Friday, 11th October, 2019 at 3.00 pm.
