UCC Semester Online Registration 2026 | How to Register

This article contains information on the University Of Cape Coast, UCC registration process and guidelines for the new and continuing students thereby preparing them for the semester of the 2026 academic year.

The registration is done via the online registration portal, which is a self-help/online system. The system is accessible off-campus for convenience. You don’t have to stand in long queues and don’t have to come to campus. This guide will enable you to process your online registration successfully.
Follow the steps that are provided to make this process an easy and exciting process.

UCC REGISTRATION GUIDELINES AND PORTAL

All Undergraduate and Diploma Continuing Students are to note that registration for the Semester, 2026/2027 academic year is in progress and would end soon. 

Students are reminded that the registration procedure involves four main steps:

Step 1: Creation of Account ( For Newly Admitted Students Only)

1. Go to UCC Student Portal

Step 2: Complete or Fill your Form

1. Enter your Student ID
2. Provide Password
3. Provide your email
4. Provide security questions
5. Provide answers to security questions
6. Click on Create Account’

Step 3: Registration of Courses

1. Go to UCC Student Portal
2. Enter your STUDENT ID (User ID) and click on ‘AUTHENTICATE’.
3. Enter your PASSWORD and click on ‘LOG IN’

Step 4: Select/Click on Registration Button

1. Verify your LEVEL and the current SEMESTER (NEW) as displayed and click on SUBMIT button.
2. The courses you have to take will automatically be displayed.
3. Verify and click on ‘REGISTER’ button.

Note: The Student Portal  is for registration, fees and results. The Admissions Portal (apply.ucc.edu.gh) is a separate system for new applicants. Distance Education students use code.ucc.edu.gh.

Registration is open daily from 9.00 am – 4.30 pm except on weekends
