The University of Ghana School of Law (UGSoL) is currently inviting applications for its new PhD in Law programme. Applicants are invited to be part of the first batch of students who will commence their studies.
The new PhD in Law programme is an integrated 4-year and 6-year Programme for full time and part-time respectively which leads to the award of Doctorate Degree. The Programme will be run on a FULL-TIME and PART-TIME BASIS.
The School of Law of the University of Ghana is the premier centre for legal education in Ghana and continues to lead the way in preparing students for the legal profession. It was first established as a department of the Faculty of Social Studies in the 1958/59 academic year, becoming a Faculty in 1960/61 then eventually a full-fledged school in the 2014/15 academic year.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS, and SPECIAL CASES.

Prospective students must have:
- A Research Master’s Degree in Law from a reputable university or a Master’s Degree in Law with a Long Paper option;
