EGERTON UNIVERSITY 41ST GRADUATION LIST FOR 2019
Egerton University wishes to inform ALL candidates who qualified for the conferment of various degrees and award of diplomas of Egerton University during the 2018/2019 academic year that the 41st Graduation Ceremony will take place on Friday 29th November 2019 starting at 8.30 a.m. at Njoro Campus. Graduands are advised to check below for the full list of graduands.
The graduation ceremony will be presided over by the University Chancellor and other councils who will award Diplomas and Certificates and confer Degrees.

Examination Results
The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.
Clearance & Fees
The following are the mandatory fees for the various categories of graduands.

These fees must be paid at any branch of the Kenya Commercial Bank into Egerton University Account No. 1107933919 indicating your registration number.
All graduands should be cleared by the EU’s Accounts Office before registering for graduation. Any outstanding fees must be paid before the deadline. Only graduands cleared by the Accounts office will be allowed to register for graduation.
List of Graduands
The list will be posted as soon as it is approved. Continuously keep on confirming with your Department if you have met the Graduation Requirements.
Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his/her School immediately.
Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names
The prospective graduands must ensure that their names are in the order in which they shall appear in the final certificate (without initials) and should be the same as in previous certificates, admission letter and supported by the National Identification card. Any correction thereafter shall attract a fee.
Academic Attire
All hired gowns must be returned by Monday 6th January 2020, after which a daily penalty of Kes. 500/= will be charged.
Rehearsal
All graduands who wish to participate in the ceremony and have paid all fees MUST attend the rehearsal on Thursday 28th November 2019 at 2.30 p.m. All graduands attending the rehearsal should be seated by 2.00 p.m. and be in complete academic attire. All graduands MUST observe Graduation Etiquette, a copy of which is to be obtained from the respective Faculties and can also be downloaded from the Egerton University website.
Punctuality and invitation Card
Each graduand will be provided with three invitation cards. The cards will be issued by the Deans of Faculty on Wednesday 27th November 2019.
Graduands must take seats by 8.00 am and invited guests are expected to be seated by 9.00 am.
