Application for the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Funding For Postgraduate Student in Kenya – 2022/2023 Entry is now open at the University of Nairobi in Kenya.
The Gandhi Smarak Nidhi fund (GSNF) will offer a limited number of partial scholarships tenable at the University of Nairobi, for Masters Programmes during the 2022/2023 academic year. The funded education is available to support all those high standard achievement candidates who are pursuing a postgraduate course.
The University of Nairobi, a body corporate established under the Universities Act 2012 of the laws of Kenya and the University of Nairobi Charter, is the pioneer institution of University education in Kenya and the region.
The only institution of higher learning in Kenya for a long time, the University of Nairobi responded to the national, regional and Africa’s high level manpower training needs by developing and evolving strong, diversified academic programmes and specializations in basic sciences, applied sciences, technology, humanities, social sciences and the arts.

GANDHI SMARAK NIDHI FUNDING ELIGIBILITY
Scholars are selected on the following criteria:
- Applicants must have attained at least an Upper Second Class Honours or its equivalent at Bachelors Level and must upload onto the application portal a letter of offer for postgraduate studies at the University of Nairobi for a Masters programme (not PhD).
GANDHI SMARAK NIDHI FUNDING APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Interested candidates are invited to apply/re-apply for the scholarship through our online application portal (https://gandhi.uonbi.ac.ke) from Monday August 2, 2021. A non-refundable application fee of Kenya Shillings Two Thousand Only (KShs. 2,000.00) will be charged to be paid through MPESA services.
