Application for the Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, DeKUT Bursary for Needy Kenyan Students – 2020/2021 Entry is now open at the Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, DeKUT in Kenya.
The office of the Registrar (Student Affairs) is in the process of awarding bursary to needy students from all campuses of Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, DeKUT. This is, therefore, to inform needy students to download the Application Form, fill it and pay the application fee stated below.
DEDAN KIMATHI UNIVERSITY (DEKUT) BURSARY ELIGIBILITY
Scholars are selected on the following criteria:
- You must be a Kenyan.
- Applicants must be DeKUT students and are required to provide evidence of studentship.
- You must show evidence of being a needy student.
DEDAN KIMATHI UNIVERSITY (DEKUT) BURSARY APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
This is to inform all students that application for the University Bursary is now open from today 22nd October to 23rd November, 2020.
- To apply, fill the Bursary Application Form which can be downloaded from the University website www.dkut.ac.ke.
- Duly filled forms can be dropped at the Directorate of Student’s Welfare or emailed to deanofstudents@ac.ke.
- Deadli ne for submitting the applications will be on 23rd November, 2020 at 5:00 pm. Any form received later than the said date will not be accepted.
- Applicants are advised to read the guidelines provided in the form before filling the Appl icants are also required to familiarize themselves with the Bursary Guidelines.
NB: Only applications that meet the guidelines stipulated in the form will be considered.
APPLICANT’S GUIDANCE NOTES
Before filling this application form, please read these guidelines carefully.
- You are required to fill in all spaces as provided.
- Incomplete bursary application form will not be
- The bursary is awarded to a bonafide needy/financially challenged DeKUT students
- The bursary fund shall cater for tuition fee Bursary awards shall not be transferable and cannot be converted to cash payment to the applicant.
- Where documentary evidence is not provided, the form will not be Recommendation letters from relevant offices e.g. chief, religious leaders and other institutions may be provided where necessary.
- Attach fees statement downloaded from the University
- All information provided will be cross-checked against information from other official public
- The information from the applicant will be held with utmost confidentiality but the Bursary Committee reserves the right to verify it where it deems
- For any future correspondence with DeKUT the applicant must quote the student registration number along with the course name, contact, School and Successful applicants shall be notifies through university notice board or website.
- The bursary support may be re-called in case a student is engaged in a general misconduct or examination malpractice.
