KEMU Masters Scholarship in Mission Studies – 2021

Application for the Kenya Methodist University (KEMU) Masters Scholarship in Mission Studies – 2020/2021 Entry is now open for all outstanding postgraduate students at the Kenya Methodist University in Kenya.

The Kenya Methodist University (KEMU) won a bid for funding of postgraduate training in mission studies for capacity building. Therefore, scholarships are available for Master of arts in mission studies.

Therefore Moi University invites applications for admission and scholarship for 2020/2021 academic year from suitably qualified candidates for Masters program as indicated below. Applicants should be currently working in Public Universities, Public Technical Training Institutions, Government line Ministries and State Corporations and other Public  sectors and seconded by their institution’s Vice Chancellor or Principal or Departmental Head. The applicant’s upper age limit is 35 years. The scholarship will cover full tuition fees and research support including journals but not subsistence costs.

The Scholarships are one of the most prestigious scholarships in Kenya. The aim of the program is to create a global network of future leaders committed to improving the lives of others.

KEMU MASTERS SCHOLARSHIP IN MISSION STUDIES ELIGIBILITY

Scholars are selected on the following criteria:

  • To be eligible for admission in to this degree programme, an applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree of Kenya Methodist University or of any recognized university with at least second class honors upper division or equivalent in arts related courses.

KEMU MASTERS SCHOLARSHIP IN MISSION STUDIES APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Scholarship Application Form available at www.kemu.ac.ke or Dean of Students’ office.
  •  Academic certificates and testimonials and in particular Bachelor of Theology or Divinity and its equivalent from KeMU or any other recognized institution of higher learning.
  • An application letter,
  • Recommendation letters,
  •  Two (2) digital full size photographs,
  • A copy of National Identity Card or valid Passport.
    Dates: Applications to reach the office of dean of student by 10th January 2023
    Notifications: Qualified candidates and beneficiaries will be notified by 15th January 2023
    NB// Priority shall be given to female students as well as those from African Instituted Churches (A.I.Cs including the Orthodox Churches).
