Application for the Machakos University, MKSU Chancellor’s Scholarship for Kenyan Students – 2022/2023 Entry is now open for Kenyan Students in Kenya.
Students from the Machakos University are invited to apply for scholarships to pursue the Chancellor’s Scholarship at MKSU.
The Chancellor of Machakos University established the Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund in 2017. The Scholarship Fund is meant to assist exemplary academic performers and needy students achieve their academic dreams.
Machakos University was founded in 1957 as a Technical Rural Training School by the then colonial Government. It was converted into Machakos Technical and Trade School in 1958, Machakos Technical School in 1967, Machakos University College in 2013 and chartered to Machakos University in October 2016.
The Scholarships are one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. The aim of the program is to create a global network of future leaders committed to improving the lives of others.
MKSU CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Scholars are selected on the following criteria:
- Must be a bonafide student of Machakos University,
- Must be an undergraduate student, iii. Must be a continuing student in second, third, fourth or fifth year of study,
- Must have attained an average grade of (A) of 70% or higher in the previous academic year,
- Must be a financially needy student,
- Should not have been involved in any case of indiscipline in the University.
Note:
- Students who were awarded the scholarship last year are eligible to apply.
- Students in their first year of study are not eligible to apply.
MKSU CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Interested students are requested to download the Chancellor’s Scholarship Application Form from the University website, fill it and submit it to the office of the Registrar (ASA) within the set timelines
Application must include:
- Only applications that have been submitted (with the International Office and registered on the website of the scholarship) on or before 28th November 2022 will be considered.
