Application for the HELB Loan and Bursary Application Form for TVET Students – 2023/2024 Entry is now open for all Kenyan Students.
The Higher Education Loans Board [HELB] invites applications for the 2023/2024 Loan and Bursary from eligible applicants in a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) recognized by the Ministry of Education [MoE], registered with Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service [KUCCPS] and member of the Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutions [KATTI).

HELB LOAN AND BURSARY ELIGIBILITY
Scholars are selected on the following criteria:
- Students enrolled in approved TVET courses and applying for the First Time or Second/Subsequent Loan.
HELB LOAN AND BURSARY APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Applicants should visit the official HELP application portal www.helb.co.ke .If you a First Time applicant, you must first create and activate your HELB Student Portal and then log in to apply.
- If applying for the loan a Second/Subsequent Time, simply use your existing login credentials to access the application
- Select the 2022/2023 TVET First Time OR Subsequent Application Form [LAF] depending on eligibility.
- Read and understand the HELB financial literacy literature or view the short videos on Financial Literacy and participate in the brief exercise
- Access and fill the application
- Print TWO copies of the duly filled Loan Application Form
- Have the forms appropriately filled, signed and stamped by the relevant authorities.
- Read, understand and sign to accept the Loan Terms and Conditions.
- Attach all the supporting documents and submit one copy of the duly filled Loan Application Form at ANY of the following Huduma Centers:
- Nairobi-GPO, Machakos, Mombasa, Nakuru, £/doret, Kisumu, Kakamega, Kisii, Nyeri, Embu, Kitui, Bungoma, lodwar, Meru, Thika, Kitale, Kericho, Nandi, Muranga, Carissa, Narok, Migori, Chuka, Kilifi and Taita Tavetafor free and secure delivery or
- Submit it personally to HELB office on Mezzanine 1,Anniversary Towers, University Way, Nairobi
- Retain a copy of the Loan Application Form [This is mandatory]
Note:
- Please ensure that you read, understand and follow t11e instructions provided at the beginning of the online loan application process including reading and undertaking the HELB Financial Literacy Programme.
- Applicants should fill the forms themselves and ensure correct information when applying. Contravention may lead to disqualification or legal action.
