Jomo Kenyatta University Change of Course Application Procedure
Firstly, check if you qualify for a course by following the instructions below
- Go to https://students.kuccps.net
- Login using: your index number as usernarne, exam year and password used during registration (Use Your Birth Certificate No. / KCPE Index No as used in KCSE Exam Registration) as your Initial Password)
- After login, click on Institutions then select JKUAT from the list of Institutions.
- All the courses are displayed here. Click on the course you want to transfer to. Your cluster weight will be displayed on the last column on the left.
- Compare your cluster weight above with the 2018 cut-off on the first column. If the cluster weight is equal to or greater than the 2018 cut-off and you also meet the required cluster subjects required then you qualify for the course.
- To check on subject requirement, click on the course to open the details.
- If your cluster weight is less than the 2018 cut-off or you DO NOT meet the cluster
subjects, then you DO NOT qualify for that course and therefore, you should NOT request for change to that course. - Once you have confirmed that you qualify, go to https://admission.jkuat.ac.ke/login and go to step 10 and follow the Instructions given to apply online.
NB:
- Kindly enter correct and accurate details (kcse index, exam year, kuccps password)
- Make sure you first confirm the current GOKIKUCCPS cut-off points for the course you want Transfer to since you can ONLY apply once.
The courses below are not available for change of course (Full):
- Bachelor of Architectural Studies/Bachelor of Architecture
- Bachelor of Quantity Surveying
- Bachelor of Nursing (direct entry)
This change of course is ONLY applicable lo GOK/KUCCPS to GOK/KUCCPS and GOK/KUCCPS to Self-sponsored students
For Self-sponsored to Self-sponsored. kindly apply manually through Dean of School.
