For admission into programmes of study at the Laikipia University LU Kenya for any first degree or second degree, an applicant must have the following requirements for a successful admission.

Entry requirements for Undergraduate Diploma Courses
Certificate Entry Requirements
- Minimum Entry Requirements:
- KCSE Mean Grade D+ or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution for all certificate courses except in Certificate in Bridging Mathematics, Kiswahili, English – KCSE Mean Grade of C+
- Minimum Entry Requirements:
- An aggregate KCSE grade of C (PLAIN) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution
- Minimum Entry Requirements:
- An aggregate KCSE grade of C+ (PLUS) or a relevant Diploma from a recognized Institution
LAIKIPIA UNIVERSITY LU KENYA POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
Entry requirements for Postgraduate Diploma Courses
- Admission and conduct of postgraduate programs shall be conducted under the provisions of the general postgraduate regulations.
- The following shall be eligible for admission into a postgraduate diploma program in the University:
- Holders of a Bachelor’s degree from Laikipia University LU Kenya and other universities recognized by the LU Senate.
Entry requirements for Masters Courses
- Bachelors Degree, Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and above.
- Bachelors Degree, Second Class Honours (Lower Division) with at least two (2) years’ relevant work experience
